- Boil the offal once, then dump out the water. Wash and cut the larger pieces into bite-sized pieces.

- Cut the daikon into 8 mm pieces, the carrot into 5 mm pieces. Cut the konnyaku into thin, rectangles and lightly boil to remove the astringent taste.

- Lastly, flavor with the miso, soy sauce, and mirin.
